Prices are based on provision of vehicle and knowledgeable guide only with accommodation sourced at a level and price point of your preference. The more people in your party, the cheaper it becomes on a “per person” basis.

Your driver will keep you fully informed and entertained on this carefully routed and planned excursion. Your tour escort tailoring your time together to suit the weather, atmosphere and ambiance of the general group on board. You may partake in as much (or little) as you feel comfortable with and will never be put under any commitment or pressure to do anything that you don’t wish to.

You will have the option of suggesting some of the viewpoints for the holiday to ensure that you get to see the parts of Scotland that excite you the most.

Day 1

08:00:
Collection from Chester-based hotels and pre-arranged locations.

09:00:
Depart Chester on a gentle, informed drive to Scotland.

11:30:
Arrive at Gretna Green, the first town in Scotland and a place where young lovers ran away to marry as the laws permitted this for 16-year olds many years ahead of England. A stop here followed by a quick tour of Scotland’s finest Designer Outlet Village (where you will find the largest Marks & Spencer outlet in Scotland) will recharge the batteries.

14:30:
We will continue North passing the magnificent City of Glasgow before entering the wonderfully scenic Loch Lomand & Trossachs National Park where we will leisurely explore and perhaps take a guided boat trip in the remaining daylight of day 1.

18:30:
Check in to our selected, approved accommodation.

19:30:
Dinner

21:00:
It is time to visit a local Scottish pub to share tales with the locals over a wee dram or two of local alcoholic pride.

Day 2

08:30:
Breakfast

09:00:
Depart to take the leisurely drive Eastwards through some of Scotland’s finest scenery, taking the famous BusyBus Highland Adventure route. Plenty of stops on-route.

12:00:
Lunch in one of our carefully selected pubs where the whole ambiance and experience will be burnt into your memory forever.

14:00:
A visit to a genuine Scottish distillery where your guide awaits to show you the wonders and secrets of this World famous drink.

16:00:
Arrive at Pitlochry, an amazing town with an amazing past. We will stroll the wonderful streets and take a look at the incredible Salmon ladder, built to allow safe passage of the travelling Scottish salmon upstream of the dam.
18:30:
Check in to our selected, approved accommodation.

19:30:
Dinner

21:00:
Let’s explore the bustling nightlife of Pitlochry…

Day 3

08:00:
Breakfast

08:30:
Check out and depart for a quick dash to Edinburgh where we will stay the day. Lots of sightseeing, scenic stops, strolling and photographing where you will have the option of visiting a number of attractions including Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile and the Royal Yacht Britannia.

15:00:
Depart for home – exhausted!

20:00:
Arrive back in Chester
