British TV company ITV is behind the 21st series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! In 2020 the show successfully relocated from the outback of Australia to the historic Gwrych Castle in Abergele, North Wales where Giovanna Fletcher won a fiercely competitive and hugely entertaining show. Gwrych Castle is less than an hours drive from Liverpool and Manchester and just 30-minutes from Chester.

Ant & Dec will host the programme live every night from the Grade I listed country house commencing Sunday 21st November 2021. There will be a few notable changes since last year, including the introduction of a second camp!

Viewers and fans will see the celebrities undertake gruelling trials and fun-filled challenges to win food and treats in the lead up to one of them being crowned, for the first time ever, King or Queen of the Castle.

This amazing and stunning location will aesthetically compete with the usual Australian jungle setting, 10-miles West of Brisbane, Queensland and who knows, it may become the normal set for future series. Gwrych castle sits in an unrivalled and atmospheric setting on a hillside overlooking the Irish Sea.

This is an unprecedented opportunity to show off some of what North Wales has to offer as well as the surrounding gateways of Chester, Liverpool and Manchester.

You will see the Liverpool Skyline in the distance as we drive along through beautiful open countryside and listen to narration…BusyBus Style 🙂

We can’t wait to tell you about this magnificent church. It’s actually called St. Mary’s but is nick-named “The Marble Church” (you’ll see why). over the years BusyBus has added a few enhancements to the legends and myths about this spectacular place. We’ll share these with you on the day!

We’ll pass this castle with an occasional Kodak-moment as you snap away at this reconstructed masterpiece between 1830 and 1832.

This is it! This is what you’ve come for! The 2020 film location and set: Gwrych Castle standing proudly on the hillside with lush green forest behind and the Irish Sea in front.

Gwrych Castle was built between 1812 and 1822 by Lloyd Hesketh Bamford-Hesketh as a memorial to his mother’s ancestors, the Lloyds of Gwrych. Upon the site was an Elizabethan house named ‘Y Fron (rounded hill) which by 1810 had fallen into dereliction.
