You are a Small family are arriving in Manchester in the early am and want to take the train from the airport to North Wales.

Ideally, getting to north wales we just wanted to take the train all the way to North wales from the airport because we were coming on an overnight long haul flight and don’t really want to drive the distance from Manchester.

Getting to North Wales you cannot just take the train from Manchester Airport to Llandudno. You need to travel from Manchester Airport to Manchester Oxford Road or Manchester PIccadilly. Check time and prices on  www.nationalrail.co.uk

Take the train to Llandudno Junction. This is on the main line to Holyhead. The train station however is about two miles from the town. You pass through Deganwy to actually get to LLandudno.

Getting to North Wales could be a lot easier and more enjoyable if you use the bus sservice for the North Wales Adventure tour. Two stops on the tour are Conwy castle – about half a mile from Llandudno junction and the car hire firms and the promenade in the centre of Llandudno
