TYPICAL ITINERARY

8.00am

Depart Chester Visitor Centre (Vicars Lane).
10.30am

Arrive Bowness on Windermere.
10.40am Take the Boat across Lake Windermere to Ambleside.
11.10am

Arrive at Ferry Pier in Ambleside. The village of Ambleside is a town with a Roman history, which developed into a market town and a base for local woollen industries. Places of interest include the Bridge House, a 17th Century Summer House joining the gardens to Ambleside Hall. The Old Corn Mill, a former corn mill, which is now a pottery and a famous glass blowing centre. You will have ample time to sample local delicacies here at one of the many café’s or browse in some of the many quaint shops.
12.30pm

Depart Ambleside.to explore the tiny roads in mountain ascents and decents. Plenty of stops for photographs and on-foot exploration. A simply stunning, unbelievable experience!
1.30pm

Arrive at a typical Lake District public house for lunch and further eye-candy or wandering exploration.
2.30pm Depart from above to continue this uncut Lake District experience. 
4.00pm

Depart The Lake District for our leisurely journey back to Chester, exchanging stories on-route.
18:30pm

Arrive back at the Chester Visitor Centre (Vicars Lane).
