Wales is rapidly becoming the adventure capital of the UK, catering for all ages. The smaller ones will find themselves entertained jumping the bouncy nets in the treetops of Zipworld Forest or underground in the caves of Bounce Below. Racing down the hill at exhilarating speeds on the Coaster on the Quarry Karts, or zipping down the longest zipwire in Europe, there is a thrill for everyone.
More of a water rat? Want to learn how to surf? There is a perfect wave for you to learn on at Surf Snowdonia! And on the Menai Strait you can go on the Rib Ride Velocity, the fastest rib-ride in the world. The rivers give you plenty of fun too, offering canyoning, gorge walks, and rafting experiences.
And that is just Wales!! Going up North to the Lakes District there is another fantastic adventure ground. Enjoy the spectacular scenery whilst you traverse the Via Ferrata at Honister Slate Mine. This is not an activity you will forget anytime soon and will really make you feel on top of the world. More tree top fun is to be had at Treetop Trek and Treetop Nets, either bouncing or testing your agility on the ropes course.
Prefer to keep thing slightly more conventional? How about a day trip to Blackpool Beach, or Alton Towers? Adrenaline will be flowing after the super acceleration of Rita, or a drop into Oblivion. You really do meet your Nemesis in this attraction park!
For the more traditional hen or stag do you have come to the right place too. Staying in either Manchester, Liverpool, or Chester you can combine your weekend with some daytime fun. Catton Hall in Cheshire offers the complete pack, with a choice of clay-pigeon shooting, archery, paintball and quad-biking. More unusual is the Hovercraft experience, but you might get wet!
You see, there are plenty of adventures to be had in Cheshire and its close surroundings. If you have any other destinations in mind do contact us too, we would love to be part of your day out.
