"We wish to thank you for providing this amazing experience. The guide was brilliant and the transport superb. We expected a rickety old minibus but got executive luxury that really helped relieve the pain (ha ha). The whole trip was beyond expectation and the fact we did it in 23:49 was the icing on the cake!" - Team BT, London |

| BusyBus are both proud and pleased to deliver to our event organisor partner, Adventure Café, what we believe are the safest and most professional 3-Peak Challenge events available. To many, at first glance, this challenge sounds relatively easy. However, let there be no mis-understandings; this is extremely difficult! It doesn't simply rely on your personal fitness but also on careful organisation, good co-ordination, fit-for-purpose transport, competent driving, teamwork, strategy, motivation and passion. Embarking on your journey to achieve and succeed in this event starts here but before you even take the next step you need to consider your event supplier and you simply won't get better than BusyBus! | | So, do you feel up for it? A total of 480 miles (800kms) inter-mountain driving, 28 miles of power-trekking, a large part during the night, climbing a total of around 3,000 vertical metres (10,000ft)?
Supporting your mates, navigating some of the deepest, darkest trails with just a head lamp providing a few meters of visibility. | Makes you shudder just at the thought doesn't it? Well, this a special kind of challenge, and not one that everyone is going to manage or achieve but then again, it wouldn't be a challenge would it? Let Adventure Café, along with BusyBus as their transport partner, take care of the whole messy organisation so you can get on with training, mental and physical preparation. There's no need for you to worry about the safety, route planning, mountain guiding, transport, accommodation, team briefing & celebrations! That's our job. The only decision you need to make is who to chose to provide the challenge - and that decision must be Adventure Café & BusyBus! 3-PEAKS CHALLENGES & THE LAW Most of the laws applicable to a 3-Peaks Challenge relate to the transport and are imposed for the safety of all. Some companies make every effort to "beat" the law but BusyBus is proud to comply fully with it; not because we don't want to get into trouble, but because we want to be as safe as possible. Transferring teams the 500-mile journey between mountains as quickly as possible is stressful on the driver. VOSA (the UK legislative and enforcement authority) have given both guidelines and legislation on journeys of this type to maximise safety. For example, driver breaks are strategically integrated into every challenge, as is a driver change approximately half way through it. Whatever company you choose to provide your challenge (even if you go it alone and hire a minibus to self-drive) do not underestimate the severity of this issue and make sure you are as safe as possible at all times. Ask your transport provider or appointed driver for clear intentions of how they will maximise safety and comply with the law. After all, you don't want the additional challenge of recovering your vehicle and team-mates from a ravine in the Lake District at 4am! |
