On July 12, 2012 we took a tour of North Wales on the Busy Bus with Peter as our guide. It was a well planned, well narrated and entertaining tour. We were on a cruise of the “British Isles” on the Caribbean Princess and were set to dock in Liverpool. We decided we wanted to see the countryside of Wales and this tour appeared interesting. We were more than satisfied with this tour as it was incredible. The scenery was absolutely stunning and Peter was amazing. He kept us entertained with stories about the area, entertaining contests, and local music. The small towns, Snowdonia National Park, and the castle that were on the tour were beautiful. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Peter even went the extra mile and retrieved my granddaughter’s favorite bear and returned it to us in the United States. A definite must if you want to see Wales.
My family and I (total of 8 adults and 1 toddler) took a BusyBus Tour during our cruise of the British Isles mid-July of North Wales. We had an amazing time on this tour and our tour guide, Peter, was fantastic! There was never a dull moment throughout our journey; he kept us interested and laughing! Our cruise ship was set to dock in Liverpool, but we choose this destination of North Wales to see a different country side and we were very glad we did. One of our favorite stops on the tour was Snowdonia National Park. Such beautiful views and great spots for pictures! Peter helped us navigate where to go even with a toddler on board. We had ample time for lunch and looking/shopping at a nearby small town and earlier in the tour explored a picturesque Conway Castle. The bus was comfortable and the commuting times seemed to go quickly with Peter as our story teller. Peter even went to the extent to find and return (to the USA) my daughter’s favorite teddy bear that didn’t make it back on the bus in Snowdonia! We had a great time and will definetly look into another BusyBus adventure if we get a change to travel to the area again!
Wanted to drop a quick note saying how much we enjoyed your tour of North Wales on July 12th as we made a port call on Caribbean Princess in Liverpool. Peter was an absolute delight, both with his knowledge of the area, and the storytelling that he did during the trip. We had an absolutely fantastic time, and feel that Busy Bus provided us with one of the best tours that we have ever been on. And a thank you for taking the time to “find” our Grand-niece’s lost “Beary” that she dropped during our stop in Snowdonia National Park. The e-mail that you sent with the pictures of the rescued bear were absolutely priceless.
Hi – Just wanted you to know that we four thoroughly enjoyed our “North Wales Adventure” on May 30th. A tremendous value! The itinerary exceeded our expectations and we learned so much from our guide. Further, he is a master at what we call “spinning yarns,” or story-telling. We really enjoyed is stories, pace of presentation, and games. It’s clear he’s done this before and was absolutely superior to anyone else we have encountered over the years. It is no wonder you have won awards for this excursion! Please pass that on to him. Also know that your driver was sensational negotiating the back roads and villages as well as pausing for photo ops. Plan to see you again, soon. Thanks in advance, Jim
Thank you so much for a terrific day. We are so glad we went. You have the gift of gab so I guess you kissed the Blarney Stone, among other things and people. You are more clever than I…….oh well it was your home turf!
We had a lovely time in Wales in end May with BusyBus. Can you please pass on my thanks to the young lady who was our wonderful guide for the day. (Vera).
Hi Peter. Thanks for making our June’s tour pictures visible online. They’re great 🙂 As soon as I’m visiting my parents I’ll send you the pictures we took with you because you really have to have them, and of course I’m going to attend to a Trip Advisor review of your great tour shortly. People have to know what they miss when they don’t book one of your tours 🙂 Looking forward to writing you again soon and have a splendid and most of all sunny week Michael
